Introduction:
Social work within work organizations is of vital importance in view of the roles it plays that have positive impact at the level of individuals, organizations and the country at large where it supports social activity within the organization, boosts the spirit of cohesion among workers and dispenses with the negative capacities arising from pressures of work in a positive manner. For instance, it satisfies the individual's desire to belong to others which will give him a feeling of mental satisfaction and self-contentment which will in turn reflect on his love for work and his performance of that work in an active and lithe spirit. It also disseminates a feeling of satisfaction in the community and endorses social solidarity and harmony among the individuals of the community. From the perspective of that understanding, the social work team of Saria Industrial Complex was founded on 16 February 2010 by virtue of administrative decision No. 1/2010. - Instilling religious values, particularly those related to the social aspect.
- Meeting the basic needs of insolvent workers in order to disseminate the values of solidarity, commonality and mercy.
- Meeting the cultural, social and sports needs of workers in order to achieve satisfaction.
This plan was implemented along the following pivots:

This pivot includes programs that target reinforcement of the spirit of belonging to the establishment. It can be realized through the following activities:

This pivot targets provision of programs through which workers can acquire life knowledge and skills that build a balanced character.
Holding lectures to be attended by all workers in the complex for achieving that purpose.
Establishing a library that contains religious, cultural and scientific books to be circulated among workers to increase their knowledge and develop their skills.

• Seeking to meet the urgent and fundamental need of individuals by invoking the spirit of solidarity and compassion among workers, each within his own capacities.
• Holding religious seminars which are addressed by religious elders who are socially acceptable to the people
• Invitation to a group breakfast to be held once a year, at least.
The sports pivot:
This pivot targets building a balanced personality for workers and promoting the sports skills of workers who practice sports. This pivot is accomplished through the following:
• Organizing sports tournaments among administrations and plants.
• Assisting individuals to register at the sports clubs presently established at the level of the top management of the establishment.
Several meetings were held for the team during the period 23 February - 31 March 2011 at which participants discussed objectives and plans after which the plans of each office were passed separately and submitted to the top management.
The social and cultural office had prepared and circulated a questionnaire for collecting data for the purpose of establishing a comprehensive paper and audio library for the complex. The questionnaire surveyed the workers on their favorite books and tapes that they wished the library to procure.
The team started probing its way amid workers to figure out their actual needs by holding a deliberative meeting between the workers and the top management in the complex (meeting of the sponsor and the sponsored) on Sunday, 28 February 2011. That meeting that shed light on the objective and plans of the work team was addressed by Saria's general manager on the past, present and future. Workers who attended the meeting addressed their questions directly to the general manager and his assistants who are directors of the technical and administrative departments. Many workers expressed their satisfaction with the deliberative meeting whose results were satisfactory to a large degree.
The meeting was followed by honoring old employees and their offspring who are distinguished in their academic studies. The distinguished son of one of the workers was honored for obtaining a Ph.D. scholarship amid his people and his own home.
In another step, the workers were briefed on the elections and the method of casting votes by hosting electoral experts for the purpose of linking workers with external events.
The needs for embellishing and maintaining the mosque were also taken into account so that the mosque may undertake its role in worship, practical life and enlightening workers. The engineering services department was delegated to hand over the cost required for this work in order to initiate steps for its approval and implementation.
The fasting season's bags were also provided for workers of low income under the participation and contributions of employees and administrators.
Preliminary steps were thereafter started for forming a fund for supporting orphan children of workers. The workers were also briefed on the Haj fund project and start of its implementation.
